Cold Weld Sealed Crystals
Cold welding is a contact welding process that requires no heat in order to achieve a hermetic seal. This process eliminates the outgassing and diffusion effects associated with resistance welding which requires melting of the metal components to form a weld. As a result cold weld parts provide a cleaner weld with superior results for crystal aging and phase noise.
